ALEXANDRIA 10/12/2024 - Among the 161 most competitive Italian companies that will be awarded the "Felix Industry Award - Italy that competes" in an objective way, through a balance sheet algorithm and financial score, is the Alexandrian company Metlac. The Bosco Marengo plant, which produces food coatings, is the only Piedmontese company along with only three others, Isomed of Cuneo, Procos of Novara and Dylog Italia of Turin, to have achieved the recognition.
Metlac and the other 160 companies were distinguished for management performance, financial reliability and sustainability after a journalistic survey of 635,000 financial statements of corporations with registered offices in Italy.

ALEXANDRIA 5/15/2024 - Istituto Volta in Alexandria hosted the second edition of Job Day, an initiative aimed at connecting students in the fifth grades with local companies through mock interviews. Students presented their resumes and gained concrete contacts with the world of work. The institute's head teacher stressed the importance of the experience for students' growth.
